Description

We’re pleased to invite you on a spring member trip to the T.C. Steele State Historic Site! Join us on Saturday, May 20, 2017 as we mingle with artists during the Festival of Flowers Paint Out, a plein air art contest for artists to work as Steele did: on location, from life, in the beautiful setting of Brown County in the spring. Tour the House of the Singing Winds and the Large Studio, stroll through Selma Steele’s restored formal gardens, and learn more about the continuing restoration efforts. Lunch will be at The Seasons Lodge in Nashville, followed by an afternoon visit to the remodeled historic Brown County Art Gallery.

The trip will leave the Indiana State Museum at 8 a.m. and arrive back at the museum at approximately 6 p.m. the same day.

Fees are $65 per person and cover coach transportation, tour fees, meals and snacks.

Registration deadline is Friday, May 12, 2017. To register: click the ticket button above OR call 317.232.1637 to reserve your spot. Limited to the first 50 participants. *Schedule with tour times will be sent in advance to all attendees
